Leo Substitutes for Panda at the Jelly Belly Factory (First)

Panda was disappointed to miss an adventure at the Jelly Belly factory. She would have loved exploring a place filled with colorful jelly beans, but this trip had started as nothing more than a last-minute errand in Fairfield and Suisun City, so no one thought to invite her along.

While I was in the area, I decided to stop by the Jelly Belly factory. The plan was not to take the tour, but simply to have lunch in the café. Unfortunately, the café was closed, although the shop was still open.

As I stepped out of the car, it suddenly occurred to me that Panda would have absolutely loved this place.

"What a shame," I thought.

Then I noticed Leo, who spends much of his time basking in the sunshine on the dashboard of the car. Since Panda was not there, perhaps Leo could represent the team on this adventure instead.

Leo was quickly tucked into my pocket and brought inside. He soon discovered the Belly Flops display, filled with the famous misshaped jelly beans, and decided it was the perfect place to pose for a photo.

Meanwhile, Panda was back home feeling a little sad that she had missed the Jelly Belly factory, but also happy that Leo had the chance to experience his very first outing. She thought it was only fair that someone else got a turn in the spotlight every once in a while.

After the adventure, Leo returned to his favorite spot on the dashboard, soaking up the warm sunshine and, despite the temptation, did not eat a single Jelly Belly.

The first photo shared was of the factory itself with the message, "I had an errand up here by the Jelly Belly factory. Too bad Panda didn't come!" followed by a praying emoji. Then came the reveal: a photo of Leo perched proudly on the Belly Flops display with the words, "But Leo did!" The response was a heart for the photo and a wow for Leo's surprise debut, marking the very first time Leo appeared in a Panda adventure.
