Panda Drinking Chai (Only Version)

Panda was excited to begin another day of exploring Oregon. The day before had been devoted to taking care of important family business, so today was set aside purely for adventure. We drove to the town of Hood River, where our exploration would begin.

After the drive, Panda was ready for a little break. We stopped at a sandwich shop, where Panda happily enjoyed a warm chai. It wasn't the sort of place Panda expected to have a photo taken, but Panda is always happy to pose for a picture—especially when chai is involved.

The warm drink was just what Panda needed. We had an ambitious day ahead of us, with waterfalls and many other beautiful places still waiting to be discovered. By the end of the day, we were completely exhausted, and Panda was convinced the chai had helped get the adventure off to a good start.

Only one Panda photo was shared that morning. As the day went on, three more followed. There wasn't much of a response, and since these were some of Panda's earliest adventures, Panda quietly wondered if perhaps the photos weren't very interesting.

It turned out there was nothing to worry about. Later, after we returned home from the trip, Panda learned that the adventures had been loved all along.

That made the chai taste even better—at least in Panda's memory.
