Panda Helps at the Farmer's Market (Shared)

Panda knew I was planning to spend the day at the market, setting up my photography booth and talking with visitors. At the last minute, Panda asked if she could come along. I thought that sounded like a wonderful idea.

Panda has always been curious about how the business works and wanted to see where she fits into it all. She was excited to learn what happens behind the scenes and to discover what it takes to set up a booth and share photographs with the public.

When we arrived, Panda watched carefully as the booth came together piece by piece. She quickly realized that helping with the setup was a little beyond her abilities. Panda is simply too short and not nearly strong enough to lift display panels, tables, and framed prints. Still, she enjoyed observing and could clearly see that I had the process down to a routine.

Once everything was ready, Panda decided to explore. She climbed up onto the booth banner and held tightly to one of the bungee cords that kept the sign in place. From her perch high above the booth, she had an excellent view of the crowd and was amazed by how many people passed by throughout the day.

Panda was a little disappointed that more people did not stop to buy photographs, but I explained that markets are about more than sales. They are an opportunity to meet people, make connections, and share stories. Panda seemed to understand and nodded thoughtfully.

As she watched visitors stroll past, Panda had a brilliant idea: perhaps one day she could help sell NFTs at the market too.
