Panda on Cruise Ship to Panama (Only Version)
Panda was absolutely blown away to discover that he was on a cruise ship in the Caribbean Sea!
Getting there had been a little more dramatic than expected.
At the airport, Panda was safely tucked inside Jay's new backpack along with all the photography equipment and computer. Panda felt pretty special traveling with such important gear. Unfortunately, when the family moved the luggage, nobody recognized the backpack and it was accidentally left behind.
There Panda sat, with his little head sticking out of the side pocket, completely exposed to the world.
By the time Jay returned from the ticket counter, airport security had surrounded the abandoned backpack. Panda wasn't sure what was happening, but he was beginning to worry.
Everyone—including Panda—was very relieved when they discovered that the suspicious backpack was not a bomb.
Eventually, Panda made it safely aboard the ship, where she discovered something wonderful about the room: it was at the very back of the ship.
There was a perfect place to sit in the window and watch the wake stretching out behind the boat. Panda was fascinated. She could sit there and watch the water rolling and swirling behind the ship for hours.
And she did.
While everyone else went off to explore the ship, Panda stayed behind and watched the wake. There was something mesmerizing about watching the Caribbean Sea disappear into the distance. Maybe there'd be a dolphin!
For the photo, Panda was initially facing into the room. After the picture was taken, she turned around to look out at the sea and settled in to enjoy the view.
The first post showed Jay sitting in the window with the view behind him: "Our room is in the back of the ship. I can sit in the window and watch the ships wake."
Then came Panda's turn: "Panda likes it there too."
The response to Jay's photo was two wows. But Panda's photo received two hearts, followed by an enthusiastic, "This is amazing" with heart eyes.
Panda couldn't have agreed more.
